Bamba Mari is a men’s program run over eight weeks designed to bring men aged 16 years and older together to discuss their issues that they are dealing with daily.

Program Details
Our next Bamba Mari program commences Tuesday 21 October. The program will run every Tuesday from 10am-1pm from the 21st October to the 9th December 2025.
The address is Level 2/158 Margaret Street, Toowoomba. Tea, coffee & lunch are provided.
Who Can Attend
This program is designed for dads, uncles, pops, nephews and carers to come along and enhance their relationships with their partners, children and community.
Referrals
The program accepts referrals from all government agencies, families, self-referrals and is a referral pathway for Yumbin Community Justice Group (Murri Court).

Outside of the program AFLSQ can offer one on one support to the men and their families. This could be an Independent Person (IP) with child safety, ensuring their health and social emotional wellbeing has been looked after and supporting them with their appointments.
This is a wraparound service, that makes sure First Nations people have the holistic care that they need and deserve.
